European Chocolates or American Chocolates??

Chocolates are considered to be a all-year round desert. You can have it anytime you want whether its the valentines day, christmas day, or just an ordinary day. Sometimes we eat chocolates on our stressful times or worst on our depressive times. Sounds a well-diverse delicacy right??? Well to me it is indeed a well-diverse sweet delicacy however I've been to exposed to different types of chocolates these days.

So far I've been trying two types of continental chocolates: the european and the american chocolates. For a filipino like me, american chocolates seem to be more common in the Philippines. Examples of american chocolates are baby ruth, mars, snickers, and many more. These chocolates are the usual chocolate brands to be seen in malls and even in duty free Philippines. How about the european chocolates??? Well these chocolates are that famous enough here in the Philippines and for you to be able to have a taste of a typical european chocolate you need someone to send these chocolates to you or you could be the one who will buy it from the european countries like France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and many others.

To me european chocolates do have a very intense taste and intricate physical appearance. I've watched a certain video in youtube wherein it showed how do the european chocolate makers pay attention in crafting their chocolates. To me european chocolates seemed to be hand-made since they are known for having certain designs on the chocolate itself such as the picture below:

Whereas the american chocolates seem to be more of a bar-looking chocolate and less of a complicated design. Maybe one of the reasons could be the fact that some of these chocolates are manufactured in mass number thus designs will just be a hassle for a chocolate manufacturing company.

And besides my bf who is a French nationale told me that european chocolates are better than the american chocolates. Well I know some of you would think that he is just narrow-minded since he lives in France but he's a businessman so he is always traveling to represent his company outside. I believe that he is in the US 2 months ago so definitely he had a taste of the american chocolate already.

But to me whether its european or american chocolate, what's important for me is the fact that it is teeth bearing since I am now a brace face person and eating chocolate is a very tedious thing for me.

Product Review: Ponds Flawless White Facial Foam & Lightening Day Cream

Hi guys I'm here again to do a product review. But before anything else I would just like to remind you that none of these products were sponsored by the company and thus my review is based on a honest and unbiased opinion.

Anyways its been exactly a week since I started in using the products below. The reason for this challenge is because I wanted to see if it is really effective upon my skin condition. I'm so sorry for not being able to show my picture last week but I might as well tell you the things that I noticed about the said products. In case that you're wondering, the products that I am talking about are the ponds flawless white facial foam & the ponds flawless white lightening day cream. I took a picture of these products as follows:

Let's start with the product review.

Ponds Flawless White Facial Foam is obviously a facial wash used to remove impurities in the skin. It claims that it will give you this certain glow and radiance. This is the reason why I am so looking forward to use this product. Well everyone of us want to have a radiant skin right??? 

What I love about the product:

• It gives me a smooth feeling after using the product
• It makes my skin radiant and glowing

What I hate about the product:

• None

Overall: this facial foam is a great alternative to Ponds Oil Control Skin Mattifying Facial Foam since it removes the necessary dirt in my face without being too harsh on the skin.

Now moving on to the next product, the Ponds Flawless White Lightening Day Cream is a type of beauty cream to be used together with the facial foam. I didn't have any problem with the smell of the actual product as well as whether its greasy or not. 

What I love about the product:

• It is non-greasy to the skin
• It can act as a face primer prior to your foundation
• It can further enhance the effects of having a radiant and glowing skin

What I hate about the product:

• It is bulky since it comes in a glass jar

Overall: I am so in love with this day cream since I can now see the effects of a flawless face however for me to be able to achieve the full effect of the said product then it is recommended to buy the night cream too ^_^

Have a taste of Korean Food

Me and my mom went to SM North Edsa right after we visited my uncle in his working place. I just wanted to share my thoughts about this particular korean dish. I am completely aware that the koreans love spicy food due to their weather condition. Moreover, the korean culture and traditions are now starting to be known to the Filipino people. This particular korean fast food chain is now finally seated its place in all SM mall branches. And eversince I started my braces journey for 3 months now I am always seeing people buying their meals in this particular fast food chain restaurant.

The korean food that I want to talk about is the most popular dish in this restaurant, the BIBIMBOB (mix rice). It costs me around Php 113.75 inclusive of a regular drink. This particular korean dish looks like this:

this is BIBIMBOB a korean dish consisting the following:

rice, egg, carrots, kimchi, lettuce, some beans and leafy veggies, and your meat choice

Actually this is partnered with a special korean red sauce which I believe it is also spicy in taste but I just decided to drop the idea of adding that sauce to this dish since the dish alone is somewhat spicy but still tolerable. I really enjoy the taste of this dish and I believe that this dish is even more suitable for cold weather scenarios.

Nikon Coolpix s3200 Zoom Test

This is my 3rd time in making a nikon related video so for this particular blog I would just like to extend my insight about the said test (Zoom Test Video). Results showed that this digital camera is highly sensitive when it comes to autofocus. It took me 5 seconds to allowed my test object to be focused. This is what I am looking for in a digital camera since I am uploading videos on my youtube channel (My YouTube Channel) so I need to acquire a camera with a fast pacing autofocus feature. I'm not gonna even lie for there are some digital camera brands where the autofocus feature seems to be not worth the price.

So for this particular test I must say that it is A YAY! given the stated video results.

Stop Motion Project #1: The Curious and Sleepy Dachshund

This is my current project on my youtube channel as of the moment however I'm still a beginner to the field of animation so I just tried to create a very simple animation of my dog using 2 fps format (click here to watch the actual video). I thought that this is really easy as you can use various editing software such as the windows live movie maker, but to my surprise its not that easy as it seems. In order for me to create this simple stop motion animation I need to use atleast 190 pictures under the 2 fps format. I've search the proper timing frame on the internet and some of these websites were telling me that 24 fps is the most recommended one. But hello?? 24 fps??? well if that's the kind of format that I will be using in my stop motion projects then I need to comply with an additional 4,180 still pictures. So instead of following the recommended fps, I just decided to discover the time frame per second that would suit my capacity as a beginner. 

This is just the beginning since it will still vary on the number of pictures that you will be planning to include in your animation. In other words, the longer the animation the more pictures are required to be use. I'm just trying to discover what features does my nikon coolpix camera can offer. This is the reason why I don't want to make stop motion videos for more than 3 minutes since it can't fit the capacity of my current memory card plus it will take a much longer time for me to edit everything.

As a conclusion, doing this project is fun since you will be able to see how creative you are as an artist. But along side with it is your passion and dedication towards this particular project since this requires time, creativity, and effort. Furthermore, since this type of animation is somewhat tedious in nature then you really need to have a humongous amount of patience in yourself or else the end-result of this particular video animation will be more or less a wasteful effort on your part since it will not come out as creative as it is supposed to be.

Product Review: Beauty UK Eyeshadow Collection

I'm a beginner to the world of makeup but it doesn't stop me from becoming a makeup enthusiast. So it was almost a year ago when I started to invest in makeup products such as lipstick, eyeshadow, foundation, blush, eyeliner, and makeup brushes. By the items that I bought I must say that I am becoming a certified makeup junkie already. The thing is investing in makeup requires financial resources and since I am still a student who is just having a part time job as my financial assistance this alone won't even compensate for what I love which is makeup and given my current financial situation I can't invest on a high-end makeup line. Thus I tried looking for better alternatives and I came across the online shop of Makeup Hub by Naturale Collezione (Click Here for their online shop!) almost a year ago. The said website offers makeup products coming from the UK at a very affordable price. So as soon I knew that they were selling affordable eyeshadows, I arrive at the decision of availing it.

These are the eyeshadow collection that I want to show you:

So now for the review part, the following are the things that I notice,

What I love about the product:

• It is affordable (it costs Php 310)
• It is highly pigmented
• It is non-powdery
• It is easy to carry
• Easy to blend

Just to show how pigmented the colors are, take a look at the pictures below:

What I hate about the Product:

• It contains 10 colors per eyeshadow collection which means more accumulated space in your makeup traincase/makeup storage
• Some of the colors tend to wash its color more quickly

Overall Assessment: I am so amazed by the product though it is somewhat expensive than our local brands but quality wise it can be heads on collision with those high-end makeup brands like the Urban Decay Naked Pallete.

Product Review: Elf Eyelid Primer

If you are a makeup artist or simply a makeup junkie/enthusiast then you should know that eyeshadow base and eyeshadow primer are an important must-have inside the makeup bag or traincase. Some of the known brands in the market today are Urban Decay, Too Faced, MAC, Lancome, Lime Crime and among others. Knowing these brands makes me lose some hope since they are on the high-end brand of cosmetic products not to mention that I am still a student thus I can't afford to buy such brands as of the moment.

Eyeshadow Primer is important since it will make your eyeshadow colors more vivid and more vibrant in nature. Furthermore, it can also make it long lasting throughout the entire day. One way to solve my dilemma would be the Elf Eyelid Primer. I made a swatch below just to show how does it appear on my skin:

As what the picture shows it can be compared with the ever famous Urban Decay Primer Potion with a fraction of the actual cost. 

What I love About the Product:

• It is affordable (it costs Php 129.75)
• It avoids creasing 
• Your eyeshadow looks more vibrant and more vivid in appearance
• Easy to blend

What I hate About the Product:

• This is not applicable in my case since I didn't encounter any problems in using this product.

Overall: I will still be re-purchasing this primer since I'm satisfied with the benefits of the said primer given its affordable price.

Product Review: Elf Cover Everything Concealer

Women have this urge of having a youthful and refreshing face however, not all women were gifted with such facial characteristic. I maybe having an almost flawless face except for one thing...and that is my very horrendous dark under eye circles or commonly known as "eye bags". I simply don't understand why despite the fact that I acquire these eye bags at a very early age eventhough at that time I was still having a complete sleep.  Studies show that these dark circles is caused by alot of factors such as fatigue, heredity, and anemia.

There are ways on how to eliminate these dark circles in your eyes. One way is to use makeup to conceal these discolorations under your eyes or use an eye cream to lessen the dark circles. In my current financial and social status, I must say that I can't afford to buy an eye cream and thus I'm shifting my option to makeup.

Going on with the review itself, the Elf Cover Everything Concealer is promising to do the following:

Its a rich blendable cream concealer that easily covers under-eye circles and imperfections for flawless looking coverage.

I got the shade in medium since this was what the sales lady recommended me that would suit my skin tone.

Now, for the product comparison I will be showing a picture of me wearing a concealer topped with powder on the right side of my face while nothing was applied on the left side of me face.

As you can see in the picture right above that my dark under eye circles has lessen :))

What I love about the Product:

• there are 4 colors to choose from
• affordable in price (sells at $2 in the US and sells at Php 129.75 in the Philippines)
• makes my dark circles less visible
• handy to carry in your purse

What I hate about the Product:

• tends to be cakey if applied excessively in your problem areas
• tends to irritate my skin a little bit especially if I didn't re-apply a powder.

Would I re-purchase this product?? YES! Despite the fact that I am experiencing some nays about the product but still it lessen my dark under eye circles. That is why I'm planning to re-purchase this again by time I run out of this concealer.

Product Review: Nikon Coolpix s3200

Hi Guys!

For today's Blog I will be doing a product review. As you can see on the picture posted above I already got a new camera. I have been using this for a few days now and I believe that I can now make a honest and unbiased review about the product. I would just like to tell my readers that this is an unsponsored video and thus comments made by myself is not being manipulated by the manufacturing company of Nikon. 

Let's get straight to the actual review:

The Nikon Coolpix s3300 camera has the following features:

• 16.0 megapixels
• 6x optical zoom
• 2.7 wide screen LCD
• 720p video quality
• slim body

What I love about this camera:

Basically this is the type of camera that I'm longing for. It is now in full HD thus I can film more vivid and clear videos at my finger tips. This camera is also equip with a auto scene selector wherein you can choose a specific scenario that possess its own shooting characteristics. Moreover, zooming in and zooming out while filming is also allowed thus allowing me to have a variety of focus on my videos.

What I hate about this camera:

One thing that I hate about this camera is the fact that it emits a weird sound whenever I use the full time autofocus in filming my videos. However, the weird sound that I am talking about is not that disturbing at all and I think the sound came from the movement of its lens whenever it does its job of autofocusing. And last thing that I hate about this camera would probably the longevity of its battery. Well maybe this is due to the fact that it records a full HD video quality thus eating the battery life quickly than a non-HD digital camera.

Overall: This digital camera is a holy grail for me since I can have a DSLR-like quality pictures without spending so much money.
